TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION & CAREER
I'm proud to be in the tech industry. Technology is constantly evolving and I'm still amazed by all the new innovations. I've been a mentor many times throughout my tech career, and I'm always happy to give my honest advice and inspire others to pursue this industry.

I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science. Throughout my college career, I participated and took leadership roles in many organizations - National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP), and Project AWESOME (Advancing Women's Education in the School of Engineering) to name a few!
For 4 years, I spent the start of my career as a Technical Solution Specialist at IBM. I began with the Summit Program, then branched into business analytics (business intelligence and predictive analytics) for the public and healthcare industries. I then went into my final 2 years at IBM in the same industries with a shifted focus on cyber security.
Additionally, I was elected as the Southern California leader for IBM's Summit Alumni's Guidance Program, where I managed all summit related items. In this role I welcomed new hires, took the role as the leading mentor for all current summits, and constructed/facilitated training and bonding events - all of which I was excited and honored to do!

As I was ready to take the next steps in my career, I moved on to a Cyber Security Advisor role at Rapid7 where I am able to expand my expertise in cyber security and continue to utilize my strong people skills.
